About Us

Ivan Wiener, PresidentIvan Wiener is a 19-year veteran in the hospitality and service industry. He began his career as a Concierge at the Grand Hyatt Washington DC in 1992 and went on to serve as Head Concierge of the historic Watergate Hotel. His reputation for building and caring for client and vendor relationships earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout the city and in publications. As a member of the prestigious worldwide concierge organization, Les Clefs d'Or, Ivan sharpened his skills offering service especially for celebrity clientele. In 1999, he opened Just Call Ivan - DC's premiere personal concierge service. Clients included Washington, DC's sports teams and visiting athletes, corporate executives and the film and entertainment industry.He rejoined Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in 2002 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa just north of Albuquerque, New Mexico as Director of Concierge & Guest Services. In 2004, his department was honored by being #1 in overall guest satisfaction throughout Hyatt Corporation. In 2005, Ivan became Resort Sales Manager for the entertainment industry, achieving record sales through his network of industry contacts. Ivan's passion for world-class concierge service inspired the creation of Reel Solutions in May 2008. The company provides concierge, consulting and production services to the film industry in New Mexico, major motion picture companies and independent filmmakers throughout the country.Ivan also serves as Executive Producer of the Albuquerque Film Festival, co-producer of Albuquerque Comic Con, Producer of the hit television show The After After Party with Steve Michael Quezada, partner of ABQ Post the top post-production studio in the Southwest and Director of the New Mexico Entertainment Museum and Hall of Fame. His latest venture, Reel Simple Life, is a division of Reel Solutions, offering companies and busy professionals celebrity status for everyday life.

Tamaya Toulouse, COOTamaya is an Albuquerque native and former New Mexico political campaign manager. She has worked in the NM Office of the Governor, on the staff of the NM State Senate and in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill. Tamaya cultivated her service experience in restaurants and as a dance teacher and has developed her project management and PR skills while working on political campaigns and events as well as medical events and education with doctors and universities. Tamaya brings 17 years of combined experience in teaching, service, PR, education and marketing to Reel Simple Life as COO managing contract negotiations, daily operations and PR and communications for the company.

We're all strapped for time. Between making that 7 a.m. meeting, picking the kids up, the 7 p.m. dinner, soccer practice and a million other things, wouldn't it be nice if there were someone to help? Well there are several in Albuquerque who can help get the shopping done, cook a meal or two, and run errands when we don't have the time. The city is full of personal assistants, personal helpers, and concierges who can do what we all wish we had the time to do ourselves.

Celebrity Treatment for the Rest of Us

When Reel Solutions started, very quickly local executives started calling for the same personal services Ivan Wiener offered to celebrities. But, Reel Solutions was set up to be a short-term service for people, a way for people who were working long days in a tough business to hold their lives together. So the company branched out. "People had heard about it, and wanted the services individually," says Tamaya Toulouse, COO of Reel Simple Life. The main difference between the two, she says, is that Reel Simple Life is a long-term solution for locals who are strapped for time, vs. Reel Solutions that's a short term service. Toulouse says her clients don't have time to keep up with everything they would want to, and she makes sure they know about, for example, wine dinners or new restaurants worth trying, or simply a new dry cleaners down the street. "We read their dossiers. There were a number of people who were looking for a jazz bar, so when Jazzbah opened, we got them set up," she says. She's worked on everything from setting up surf lessons, to arranging surprise private dinners and even office parties. "It's the perspective," Toulouse says. "It's a treasure hunt. Every kid loves that. I love finding things for people." This winter, though, Reel Simple LIfe is setting clients up with gift wrappers for the holidays, for those who don't have time (or the skills) to nicely wrap gifts. Also, if clients don't have the time to set up a Christmas tree, the company has contracted with local interior designers who can simply show up and deck a house out for the holidays, including the tree.
